Very nicely made wool tunic, very good detailing and made from good quality field gray wool.
The tunics are sold with good quality SS insignia sewn so they are ready to wear.
The sewn in insignia includes the collar tabs (1 x blank, 1 x SS runes) and the SS arm eagle in the correct style for this period tunic. It also includes SS shoulder boards (black wool with white piping for infantry) which are buttoned on.
No other insignia like rank or cuff band’s are included.
The colour of the Waffen SS M43 tunic is the later war field grey which is not at as green as the previous wool tunics.
This is the SS version of the German WW2 M43 tunic which has five buttons closure down the front.

- Late war field grey colour wool.
- Nice Ryon liner.
- Field dressing pouch on the inside.
- Holes for the belt hooks with tabs on the inside (belt hooks not included).
- Cuffs are adjustable with buttons.
- 5 button front for SS.

- Lower pockets have bellowed bottoms.
- SS sleeve eagle sewn on with correct type of stitching.
- SS collar tabs sewn on (1 x blank, 1 x SS runes correct pattern for this period of tunic).

We have been selling militaria for the last 25 years, dealing with re-enactors and specialising in the German side for the last 15. As a collector and re-enactor myself I am constantly striving to improve standards and seek out better kit. The first major production I contributed to was Saving Private Ryan and played a significant part in supplying both uniforms and equipment for the Germans in the acclaimed TV drama series Band of Brothers, Captain Correlis Mandolin, Hannibal Rising, Atonement, Valkyrie, Outpost and Inglorious Bastards. I have also contributed to a diorama which is part of a new exhibition which opened recently at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford.
